empowerment from the inside out
Poetry by a deep soul explorer
to uplift, to heal
Human Beings are like Flowers
Flowers are unequal in size, shape and hue, and yet are of equal beauty.
Flowers are perfect because they are imperfect.
Flowers grow and flourish when they are in their ideal environment.
Flowers are happy to be blown around by the wind because they are firmly rooted in soil.
Flowers are surrounded by other flowers.
Flowers express their beauty by being themselves.
Flowers are cheerful and bring joy.
Flowers change as the seasons change.
Flowers need only to bloom to have fulfilled their life's mission.
Human beings are like flowers.

I allow myself,..
I allow myself, To be, All of me.
To my fear, I welcome you.
To self-doubt, Be here.
To my misperceptions, I love you.
To the lies I believed, It’s ok.
To worry, You’re alright.
To guilt, I Understand.
To my inner critic, You’re lovable.
To my pain, Thank you.
To my rage, Tell me everything.
To the past, long ago, I’m listening.
I feel Safe, To Be, All of Me
At the center of myself, A Star
Divine Radiant Love
Only This, Is Real

Like a nut
The Shell of a Nut, with a little pressure
Can be cracked and snapped
To reveal the softer fleshy, nutty interior part
As with the Shell of a Nut
So too, with a little pressure
The Shell of a Human
Can be cracked and snapped
To reveal the softer fleshy, nutty interior part
With the passing of time, all Shells,
Whether the Shell of a Nut
Or the Shell of a Human
Must be cracked and snapped
To reveal the softer fleshy, nutty interior part
It is the softer fleshy, nutty Interior part
Of both the Nut, And the Human
That is the most delicious
It is the most creamy and rich
Part of both the Nut, And the Human
Once the softer fleshy, nutty interior part
Of the Human
Has been exposed
The Human knows, That every Shell
Whether of Nut, Or of Human
That ever was
Has a softer fleshy, nutty interior part
It is the most delicious
It is the most creamy and rich
Part of the Nut, and the Human

Wealth
You cannot give wealth
If you do not have it
You cannot have wealth
If you are not open to receiving it
You cannot be open to receiving wealth
If you do not know your worth
You cannot know your worth
If you do not know who you are
You cannot know who you are
If you do not seek yourself

The call of a medicine woman
A medicine woman worth her salt
She will tell you
How it is to be stripped and shamed
Left out to dry, to cower, to hide
To deny herself to avoid the scathe
She has lied, bargained, pretended
Fought with her might, screamed, protested
She knows how it is to be feared, rejected
Finds comrades among others discriminated
The loss of her Self bears unremitting torment
A dark shadow follows, she weeps, laments
She fought the call with all she had
Resisted, obstructed, doubted, escaped
If only to give in and let verity come to shape
She falls to her knees, no other way can there be
The times call forth medicine to restore all to place
Life blood must be given to receive back her gifts
Out from the chrysalis, reborn, awake
White clouds parting, the doves and the snakes
Rain forth the treasures of earth and remake
The love and the honour of truth for takes
She heals and transforms, serves all with her heart
Reversing disharmony, pain departs
Compassionate caring, her reason, her art
Of humanity itself, she is a sure part
